Android is an open, flexible and license free mobile phone operating system.
HTC's Android devices (Hero and Tattoo) both feature HTC's own fully-featured Exchange client which supports full mailbox synchronisation including subfolders as well as contact-lookup and out of office support.
For non HTC-branded devices, third-party solutions are available such as DataViz's RoadSync application, purchasable via the Android Market. RoadSync gives secure, wireless and direct push synchronization with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and 2007.
