Grapevine is inviting its customers and other interested local organisations to a special road show with partner Vodafone UK onboard the network's 'Data Bus'. Held on Tuesday 24th April (12-2pm) at Bristol Rovers' Memorial Stadium, the interactive, hands-on session will bring guests up to speed with the latest developments in maximising time and efficiency through mobile working.
Vodafone's specially-designed bus is divided into three areas to demonstrate mobile Internet connectivity, mobile email access, along with a technical support zone for specialist advice and guidance on mobile working. Following the tour, Grapevine and Vodafone are hosting a lunch for their guests within the hospitality area of the stadium.
Grapevine's Sales Director Pete Boby is eagerly anticipating the event as an excellent way of information sharing. Mr Boby states: "A practical demonstration is perhaps the best way to highlight how technology can have a positive impact on a business person's working day. Sometimes users can be daunted with new technology, but getting a device into their hands can quickly show its simplicity."
Although initial places were by invite only and were taken by customers, Grapevine is pleased to announce that the capacity has been increased. The day is now open to all representatives from local organisations with an interest in the area. Grapevine's Pete encourages further attendance by stating: "Business owners, office managers, those in IT, or any employee with responsibilities for mobile phones in their organisation should attend. It will be the ideal environment to gather the latest information and see what support is on offer locally from Vodafone and Grapevine."
