Pete Boby (left) & Paul Lappage display the Vodafone accreditation. | Mobile communication specialist Grapevine is celebrating the recent announcement that it has become a Premier Partner of Vodafone, one of only twenty across the United Kingdom. This follows a recent period of reorganisation by Vodafone aimed at increasing the levels of service available to local businesses with the aid of chosen companies.
Trading since 1991, Grapevine has combined expertise and experience in the industry with a close relationship with Vodafone, and this has been cemented under the new agreement. The network's channel program is a marked change within the mobile industry. It divides its partners between three tiers, depending on performance across four of Vodafone's key performance indicators. These are the predicted lifetime revenue per connection, average billed base, gross connections and net connections, with six monthly reviews in place to maintain standards.
Grapevine's Sales Director, Peter Boby, has expressed his delight at the announcement, stating: "This is an excellent achievement. It recognises the contribution that Grapevine has made over the years and our ability to meet high levels of performance. It is testament to the hard work of the team we have in place and the 'added value' they are able to provide to supplement Vodafone locally."
Vodafone's Head of Indirect Sales, Robert Sandford, comments: "The new Vodafone Channel Programme offers the highest level of service and support to local businesses through its Premier Partners. It means that organisations have all the backing of a global network, but with a greater local presence. Business owners and managers in the South West can now be guaranteed excellent and continued service through Vodafone and their Premier Partner, Grapevine."
