Grapevine & The BCTC
Local mobile technology expert Grapevine has proved that networking helps generate new business. Soon after joining the Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce, Grapevine immediately assisted the organisation with their own mobile working requirements! Supporting local businesses as a Vodafone Premier Partner, Grapevine has utilised networking activities for promotional purposes. The growth and profile of the Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce suggested that membership would enhance Grapevine's presence within its target market. Recognising the importance of responsiveness with their business communications, the BCTC consulted Grapevine about the most suitable mobile connectivity for their secretary. Grapevine's Business Development Manager, Paul Lappage, was pleasantly surprised by the immediate results of the company's BCTC membership.
He states: "Grapevine has been aware of the BCTC for sometime. The positive leadership of the President and executive team made the group appealing. Our company is delighted to be selected by the Chamber as one of its suppliers so soon after joining. Networking is about building relationships and highlighting expertise in your chosen field, so this is a real feather in our cap." The President of the Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce, Nigel Hedges has warmly welcomed Grapevine as both a new member and supplier. Mr Hedges states: "It is pleasing to see another local company recognising that membership to the BCTC can enhance its profile amongst other members and the wider business community. Grapevine already supports and number of organisations in Bournemouth and its surrounding area, so they were an obvious choice when it came to addressing the Chamber's mobile phone requirements."
