Guests at Grapevine's first 'Working Lunch' event in June were led through a new way to do business with Samsung Mobile.
|
The informal and interactive hour-long session provided a guide to the latest devices suitable for business use - the i780, i200 and M110 Solid. With the audience representing organisations from a cross section of industries, the hands-on nature of the session allowed them to explore how the device could be implemented in practice.
The technical guide ended with positive Q&A time whereby guests asked the mobility experts from Samsung and Grapevine further questions about the application of the technologies in their specific contexts. |
Guests make the most of the hands-on guide.

With Windows Mobile and a stylish design, the i780 is a professional tool for remote working. Although compact, its large touch screen display enhances its functionality. With work-based applications powered by HSDPA speeds and business tools like integrated GPS for satnav, it is a device of choice of IT professionals who need to be on top of key organisational operations. |

As one of the slimmest smartphones available, the i200 is an ideal device for user-friendly Windows Mobile functionality. The i200 is triband and has high speed HSDPA connectivity, plus a 2 megapixel camera, music player and expandable memory. This would be the ideal handset for a sales representative who needs a simplified device for work calls, e-mails and web access, but with all the common features found on today's latest mobiles. |

Splash and dust proof, conforming to IP 54 - IEC certification, the M110 Solid is a mobile built to last. Although rugged and protective in design, the Solid still remains compact. It even possesses key features like Bluetooth and a camera that are regularly needed during the working day. The Solid is a valuable tool for staff operating in demanding environments like construction sites. |

Each guest present was entered into a free prize draw. The prize of a Samsung LCD TV went to lucky winner Steve Gray of David Brown Hydraulics (left), presented with the prize by Grapevine's Paul Lappage. |
